April 2, 2020 (Day Zero)

To mark the Government’s decision to institute a two-week stay in place, I jokingly asked my wife this afternoon if she would prefer if I grow a Covid-19 beard or mullet. I was certain she would choose “C) None of the Above,” but she surprisingly chose ‘beard,’ so I’m growing a beard – a secret beard.  I haven’t said any more about it, but I have her permission in writing and I’m proceeding with reckless abandon.  My secret beard is going to be awesome, I can feel it!
